Good evening, my beloved ones. I am Sananda. It is lovely to be with you again.
We look forward to your gatherings, for though they are small, we can see into your hearts and we know of the Love and the Light you hold in your hearts. And these little gatherings of yours are most important for anchoring the Light in your area of the planet.
As you know the planet is going through much turmoil at the moment and things are speeding up beyond your wildest imagination. The time is soon to arrive when most beings on the Earth plane will have no idea what is happening to them. Because of the work that you have undertaken in your lives, in your spiritual path, in your growth, in your ascension process, you have an idea of what is to come. It is not far away, my friends, not far away at all.
I want you all to learn the importance of unconditional Love for that is the greatest ally that you will have in the hard times ahead. You will need unconditional Love and you will need lots of it. I cannot speak enough of the difficulties that will arise and how you will find yourself drawing on all your path and all your personal growth to find the love that you will allow to shine out amongst those around you in such times.
Already you are starting to notice that those around you are beginning to align themselves in groups. This is going to become more and more obvious as the time goes on and those groups are going to be either for you or against you. In time, you will be confronted by those who were once dear to you, who will then turn against you. I want you to understand that if you carry the faith, and you trust, and you hold the Light of the Source in your heart, then you will be invincible. Regardless of what happens to you, regardless of what is thrown at you, regardless of what energy is moved against you, there is nothing that can overpower the Light of the Source if you hold it true in your hearts and offer it out in love. But you must offer it in love. To let your Light shine out is of great use at the moment but in the time to come it must be allowed to shine out with love - unconditional Love.
As the planet moves towards her ascension, everything is speeding up, time itself is speeding up. You may find that difficult to imagine, but even time is speeding up. Also people's alignment into groups is speeding up for soon we will be entering a phase of Earth's ascension where people will need to congregate in large groups in order to feel safe, in order to feel as if they understand what is going on. There is a sense of this already, even amongst those who have not yet "woken up", there is a sense in their unconscious mind of what is happening and they are making the moves necessary to find where they feel they belong. They have no awareness of this, as such, but this is what is happening to them. For them, this is just the beginning of a feeling.
Lord Sananda, if we are asked, or invited to go to gatherings with people of other such groups, is it appropriate that we go?
Again, you will need to discern this for yourself. But I say to you take the Light of the Source into any group that you choose. Take it with the knowingness that if it is offered in love; that you are invincible and that nothing will harm you. However, you will need to discern whether such a group is likely to benefit from that, or not.
Mm. Another similar question: I have particular friend... I hesitate to use the word 'friend'. She was a very close friend and now she's not so close because our paths have diverged. When I'm in her company she's very much full of negative, sabotaging energy. Is it appropriate to stay away from that energy? Whenever I leave I feel like my aura's been 'cloaked' in darkness. It's very difficult to remain positive in that energy.
I understand your feelings towards your old friend, but if you are leaving that person's company in a depressed state, or more dense than when you arrived, then you must be aware that her energy is rivalling your own, and is having an effect on you. I suggest that, until you are able to hold the Light in a state of unconditional Love in her presence, and therefore not be affected by her energy, that you refrain from seeing her. Try meditating on this. Try to find love for that person in your heart. She is there for you at this time to provide this lesson for you, this lesson of unconditional Love, so you can offer the Light and not be affected by her negativity. You will come to a point where you thank her for the Service that she has provided for you, in accordance with agreements made between you both in Spirit before this incarnation. She is on her path and the way that she has chosen is as important for her as your path is for you. Has that answered your question?

Lord Sananda, I have another question. One that I've been pondering for a while. What is the difference between 'love' and 'Light'?
There are many forms of love, as you know. There is the love that is expressed in the third dimension which is what we in Spirit regard as 'small love', which actually isn't love at all; and there is the larger Love which we in Spirit know as being part of the All That Is. This larger Love, which can only be unconditional, is of such a high vibration that it actually emits Light - it is a source of Light. Light is one way that Love is carried throughout the cosmos. It could be argued that there could be no Love where there is no light, but that would be to take things back to a duality where light is perceived as being the opposite of the dark. Love is beyond duality even in the third dimension, although most beings on the planet would not understand this, there is no opposite to Love for it is a total energy in its own right. It has everything expressed in it, every aspect of itself is there. Love is something that is universal, as is Light, they are parallel phenomena and they are inseparable. The darkness that you perceive, as you know, is only there so that you can recognise the Light, but there is no opposite to Love. And that is the difference between 'Love' and 'Light'.
