Is
America the New Atlantis? - April, 2003

Since
11 September, 2001 the world has changed forever, we are told
almost daily. This date was the final date able to be ascertained
mathmatically in the Great Pyramid at Giza, according to MoiRa
Timms, (author of Prophecies To Take Into The 21st Century, first
published in 1980 and more recently in 1994 by Thorsons - ISBN
0722533373). The final date found in the King’s Chamber of
the Great Pyramid is 17th September, 2001, which suggests that
the planetary emotional response was more important than the actions
of the 11th. Since
that time, I have felt an overwhelming sense of oppression engulf
the world. It reminds me of the oppression administered upon Atlantis
when the House of Belial reigned by conquering the House of One.
This energy wills us to comply with its agenda... it tries to
force us to surrender our sovereignty to a material power... it
implies that if we resist we are suspect.... or worse, we are
actually the cause of the oppression. This twist is all around
us, not just in the justification of violence. It is inherent
in the way democratic governments force their self-proclaimed
mandate upon us, the aims of which are to not only destroy our
planet, our peace and our sense of a loving, trusting community
but more often than not does not reflect the will of the people
at all, and certainly not for the Higher Good. Such
oppressive energy twists words to meet its needs and it uses all
media to thrust itself upon us. I often ponder why this base of
powerful energy needs to manipulate and bully the rest of us so.
It is relentless and overbearing and seems to have convinced so
many of us of its righteousness. Despite knowing that Truth and
Love are the reality, why is the world falling prey to this power?
Surely this is how we felt in Atlantis when the end was near.
If
these forces are present, the opposite forces are also present
in the unmanifest state. The New Atlantis is seeded, it has been
birthed. This Atlantis does not include this dishonesty and manipulation.
Ultimately the love that we generate in our lives is Truth. One
night in November, 1994 I dreamed of a meeting which changed the
whole focus of my life in this lifetime. In the dream, which has
been transcribed in Beyond
the Veils of Time, I found myself in an underground maze
seeking the sky and the light. At last I came into a room with
an open window at ground level. Outside in a courtyard a procession
was coming towards me led by a beautiful goddess. I joined a group
of women lined up to be received. When she came to me, I was duly
touched by the Goddess. I asked who she was, and she simply answered,
“Isis.” Since
that dream, I have encountered Isis in many ways, as Jaraya has
encountered Osiris; for many months following we were guided on
our Path by this Divine duo. And since those times, Isis has become
more than a part of my life, she has become a part of who I Am.
Now, I understand myself to represent an embodiment of Isis incarnate. Reading
Dr
Cristina Henderson’s article on the Sisterhood of the Rose
and the healing powers of Seichim, I Know that what is happening
now on the planet is a profound movement beyond the duality of
the Light and the Dark that nothing can arrest. This is neither
an acknowledgement nor a judgement of dark versus light, nor how
Light has a greater vibration and is therefore somehow more righteous.
Consider
for a moment the symbol of the yin/yang circle where one dark
half curls around the light, with touches of each in both, and
so harmony and balance are created. Which energy is represented
by the light? Which is represented by the dark? Light is masculine;
dark is feminine... lightworkers are the light; reptilian/bad
beings are the dark... negative is dark; positive is light; consciousness
is light; unconsciousness is dark... We could continue forever.
My point is that at some point we must dismiss the judgement of
either and simply see that the I Am is a combination of light
and dark; God and Goddess. Recognition of that dynamic place of paradox is how we create a paradigm beyond conflict. We
have lived with God energy for thousands of years and it is now
time to not only invite the Goddess to return, but to real-ise
that she actually never left... and so create a place of unconditional
Divine Love both within and without. Every movement on the world
stage is moving to this end. I read recently that freedom is the
ultimate goal of the human family and if a path towards this goal
is just, it will open quickly and easily... as with the falling
of the Berlin Wall or the breaking up of the USSR. If it is fraught
with opposition and blockage, it is not just, not true. This path
towards freedom must be paved and fuelled with Love. When
Diana was killed I felt as if some small part of the goddess had
been denied us. I’m not a royalist and never have been; nor
have I been someone who follows a traditional Goddess path, but
I was always touched by how Diana went about her life. She wasn’t
perfect by any means, and I’m sure she’d forgive me
if I suggest that she was probably naive, a little vain and perhaps
self-centred; above all she was a creature of her own fear-driven
life - as we all are... yet she was able to express for us that
tiny bit of Goddess Love that allowed our potential to be reflected
back to us. This is precisely what was feared by and threatened
the darkness of the world... for the beings who want to preserve
the status quo, the beings who see a warrior culture as somehow
less threatening than a loving one. I feel that, because I could
see this, I was ‘given’ A
Question of Sovereignty. Because I live in a tiny island
away from the centre of the world, because my interest is in the
process and not the content and because I have no ego involvement
in such a structured political world, I would be able to put it
on paper. This is why Isis entrusted me to write this story. I
understand this now. In my book, Isobel is the Goddess returned
and together with William as the male component, they Will the
creation of us all in the likeness of neither God nor Goddess,
but I Am. This
is the New Atlantis, the state of Altea America... Key 101 of
The Keys of Enoch. It is no country, no physical island state.
It is a sense of spiritual sovereignty which, with Will, we all
inhabit if we have the courage to explore and seek it out from
within. And if we have the determination, nothing can stop us.
We are protected and we are invincible. I
recently had an email from a friend (an American) who made the
comment that there are very few Americans in the USA and that
his country is full of ‘USers’. It was a thought-provoking
comment. Certainly we can get so close to something that we end
up with our noses pressed up against it only to wonder where it
went. Much of the national psyche of the United States comes across
as a kind of arrogance that does not endear outsiders to the US.
This is how much of the world views the United States’ unilateral
mission to free Iraqis from their dictator. But the US troops
were surprised to find that Iraqis would rather be governed by
an oppressive Iraqi dictator than invaded by another country,
regardless of their stated motives for invasion. Many
spiritual people feel that the United States is ‘God’s
country’ and that its purpose is to be the seat of the new
spiritual evolution... surely America is to be the New Atlantis.
But ‘america’ is not a word describing a country or
its political borders. It is a word which denotes the ‘I
Am Race’, a race which has no physical boundaries. However,
people who live in the US hear the word ‘america’ and
see and feel the physical country and are emotionally trapped
by the rhetoric which has seen patriotism to the United States
overtake the perception of ‘america’. No matter how
much they think outside the square, they are still trapped by
their tribal view and its political values. They wish... they
desire so much to be the servants of ‘freedom’ and the
vehicle to that end - democracy... that so much of the consensus
reality is riding upon them being the saviours of the planet,
they fail to see that the veils are thickest the closest one is
to the Centre. It is time for all of us to see beyond our national
identity - wherever we were born or reside. It is time now to
recognise our spiritual sovererignty. It is simply a matter of
pulling aside the veils to re-member the I Am Race. This is the
new Atlantis. It
is similar with our response to the word ‘israel’. From
our physical egoist stance we hear the word and see the land...
the thoughtform is of a ‘Jewish homeland’ from one perspective,
or ‘occupied Palestine’ from the other. Our minds trick
us with images and stories from our temporal self. But, again,
the word has nothing whatsoever to do with genetics or politics,
(although looking through ‘spirit’s eyes’ one can
see the clues to solving humanity’s religious conflict).
Again we fail to see that this word refers to our sacred lineage...
IS-RA-EL. It is a key to our understanding that when we recognise
our sacred ancestry, we will recognise our sacred destiny... ‘Israel’
is the key to finding our place of peace, our harmony. When, as
individuals, we finally understand how to be harmonious with our
past, our present and our future, conflict will be resolved in
Israel. It will be One. The two words, 'america' and 'israel', are essential keys to understanding our spiritual destiny... our evolution into living with peace and freedom. It can only happen, however, when we move away from identifying tribally and begin perceiving from a more heart-felt perspective. It is, and has always been, a free choice of will. Just as we were promised a return of Jesus, or Arthur for that matter, we were promised that Atlantis would reappear. It is not going to happen miraculously, with no effort on our part. As Jesus said time and again, we have to do the work ourselves. Many feel that the United States is New Atlantis, but it cannot be. The new Atlantis cannot exist where struggle remains. This has already been done in the old Atlantis, the new Atlantis is beyond that. It is not a physical state. The New Atlantis... Altea America, is found within. Copyright 2003 Selenna
