Daughter of the Sun God

“Nature must not win the game, but she cannot lose...”
C G Jung

“She watched first one tower... then the other... collapse in on itself and drop to the ground in clouds of grey dust and rubble. The news flooded into her body... bled through every fibre, as she fell in a heap on the lounge room floor, compelled to watch the never-ending re-runs of the event, crying bitter tears of regret and guilt.

On that beautiful morning in spring ... so stunned was she and so cognisant that she was totally and utterly responsible... Perhaps this was, at last, her insanity being played out on television screens the world over.”

From two points on the Timeline, Atlantis and the present, the Oracle alone knows that the the future has already occurred just as the past has yet to happen. Across time she witnesses Altea, Holy Sister from the Order of the Sun, and Odan, King of Atlantis, struggle to take responsibility for their actions and the effect upon the destiny of all humanity. The forces of darkness in a myriad of archetypes are everywhere, yet they must pursue their goal to the very end.

With the predicted “End Times” approaching at breakneck speed, the world around them collapsing in upon itself, Mike, karate Master and Tess, suburban housewife, must make the painful choice of once again accepting their entwined destiny. Is a union between them the only way to heal the divisions wrought in the modern world?

They say that Time is a healer. Time gives the illusion of permanence, but are we able to use it as a tool and change the past in order to heal the future? Violence and corruption, unfettered greed and a lack of respect for the Earth appear to be the most powerful qualities which lead humanity to its fate... but what of Love? Will it, rather than conflict, heal the rift and bring the promised ‘thousand years of peace’ to Planet Earth?

Synopsis
Predicted by the Oracle, who keeps a watchful eye on the process, the endtimes of Atlantis are approaching fast...

By the time Odan becomes High King, the corruption has already taken hold and despite his intense desire to bring peace to his country he knows deep down that only union with the powerful priestess Altea, highest acolyte in the land from the Order of the Sun, will bring the stability and tranquillity that his people require in order to flourish. She is, after all, the embodiment of the Crystal of Atlantis, the powerful cornerstone which fuels the nation and he, as High King, the symbol of its health. Three times he asks her and each time she refuses him, aware that choosing personal love over her acceptance of divine love will cause the foretold destruction rather than avert it.

Zardak, Odan’s jealous younger brother who covets the High King’s crown, and Senat, ambassador of the Siriuns, who came to Earth seeking gold in exchange for technology and material comfort, are plotting Odan’s downfall. Despite having friends in the form of the powerful High Priest from the outlawed House of One, Duand el Ptah, and his successor, Osiris, Odan cannot stop the destined forces which work against the greater good.

Running parallel to the Atlantean story, the Oracle takes us to the chaos of the 21st century world where Tess, a suburban wife, is juggling family, financial pressures and her faltering marriage with a growing awareness that her current incarnation has a profound connection to archetypal events of the past. With her friend, Shar, they witness the world around them collapsing in upon itself just as the twin towers do; and it is then that she knows with absolute certainty that it is her destiny to converge the two moments in the human story and bring about atonement for humanity. As the post 9/11 world unfolds, where politicians lie, wars are fought and the environment suffers all for the shareholder dollar, they both begin to understand what roles they have in this reconciliation and healing process.

For Tess, it is the realisation that she is Altea incarnate with the undeniable feeling that what is happening in the 21st century is a direct result of the choices made by her at the Fall of Atlantis, a feeling which drives her to recognise Odan in Mike, a martial arts master. It is imperative that she ritually unite with him to right the wrongs of the past. But the tables have turned. Despite also having visitations from dimensions beyond the rational urging him to this sacred union, it is now Mike who seems to question divine Will. Denied in one lifetime by Altea and in another by Odan, love joins them regardless until both must surrender or their worlds will continue to suffer.

In a cosmic game with the ‘time line’ as the arena of play, the Oracle, as our witness authorised by the gods, takes us from the Hall of Amenti, through Atlantis, into dimensions beyond logic as well as deep into the ancient forests of the planet where respect for the Earth Mother is lovingly being restored.

This is a story about sacred marriage, about love in its highest form and how such a union brings harmony to all. It is about archetypes and how we, as ordinary humans, can recognise our true divine nature by recognising that we are also not just tiny fragments of the same archetype, but of the Source itself.
