Professional pathway planning and transition support for young people in southern Tasmania.
Thank you for visiting Tom Giblin’s Absolute Clarity website. Young people entering today’s workforce will, on average, have six or seven major career changes over their working lives. More than ever there is great need for clarity around planning for their future within that context. Drawing on my own non-linear, forty year career pathway and the wonderful opportunities it revealed for me, I am pleased to continue offering one-to-one careers advice, pathway planning and transition support for young people at a professional standard no longer available within our government school sector.
I can also assist Participants in the Transition to Work program through my work as a Development Coach with Project47.
Over the past decade my career direction has focused on developing relationships to deliver hands-on industry taster and career awareness programs for young people aged 15-19 years. More recently I have worked as a Pathway Planning Officer, with a further two years working with disengaged youth assisting them to make a successful transition to a senior secondary college or explore alternative education options.
